does anyone have or know of a adapter i can use to enable me to do what im suggesting easy as .......

please let me know

MikesArcade has one for the VS UniSystem, not the PlayChoice 10. There was one that was put into production privately and was being sold on eBay a while back. Only a few were made and none of them sold because the price was astronomical. They were very professional looking but they were asking $195 plus shipping for it. Your best bet is to contact a person whomakes JAMMA harnesses and see if they will take on a custom request. However, I do not think you will find a cheap one anywhere.

I thought the pinouts were the same on a vs and single pc-10 board. Mike arcade should work with the single monitor but not the dual monitor playchoice..Just check the 2 pinouts and it should be the same not 100% sure though..

hope this helps

Playchoice

thanks for the info lads ..

ive found out i need the mobo or something to play such games on my jamma cab too is this correct ?

i thought maybe i could just make a adapter to fit board direct without having to fit it to the 10 slot mobo which i dont have ??

if i cant play them i will sell the games, is there any worth to them please?

thanks

I feel compelled to post though I don't have info on how to produce one. I bought one from the ebay seller I believe Nerdtendo is talking about. The cost was around what Nerdtendo stated but it came with the main board and the adapter which I thought was a fair deal since the main board usually goes for about half that anyway.

The only thing is the ebay seller who made the adapter wired the controls funky and didnt even wire up the select button! so a friend of mine resoldered the controls correct (The original button order was like A, Game Select, B, Enter which needed to be resoldered to a natural order like B, A, Game Select, Enter and attached the select button) Other than that oversight from the ebay seller, the adapter has been great. Thanks to my friend and his expert soldering, it ended up being a good buy.

Picture of it after being mounted. You can see my friend's corrections. His are the black wires.

You will need the 10 slot motherboard to play the games. There is no way to play the individual game PCBs without it.

Yes, there is some worth to the game PCBs depending on what titles you have. Prices range from $20 to $350 per game.
