I have purchased several kits and spare connectors and pins.

9/10 times when my ballys dont work I trace it back to a bad connector/pin

my playboy '78 and silverball mania had the exact problem. replace all of the plugs and connectors at the mpu, power regulator and solenoid driver. This has made the game a lot more reliable. Sorry i am late to the party I could have saved you a bunch of headaches.

Hint: I have found that the best way is to cut the old pin off, strip new clean wire, add a bit of solder to the wire, crip on new pin and heat pin to flow solder from wire to pin. This gives the best and most trouble free connection; which is the root to most early bally SS problems.
