Anyone else find this place a bit weird? VIP service and classic games? Spending more time focused on the Miami Heat than your hometown team? I'd like to see a Venn diagram between classic games and South Beach partiers.

Well, let's see... Several locations in the US, Arcades, Pinballs, Bar, DJs, Dancing.. My guess is they are doing something right. The downside is the impact to the small mom and pop arcades, as you are now taking away their real audience (30-40 year old gamers). Just goes to show you, most of the successful arcades have food and/or alchohol with the games (i.e. Dave and Busters, InsertCoins, and various "barcades").

Edit: Oh, and if you haven't partied in South Beach, you really wouldn't understand.. It's absolutely INSANE and SO MUCH FUN.

there is one of these in vegas. i went and was not impressed. a lot of games didnt work right and the lcd in some of the games look bad. and a lot crt games werent maintained. if your there you not likely there to play uprights unless you just so plastered you dont give a shit. i dont know how there console games are. i spent $2 and 5 minutes there. really wanted my 5 minutes back.

Alright, Ill give you the several locations, drinking, djs, and dancing. You forgot to throw in the stripper pole, drunken mario kart, and designer hand bag give aways to overly tanned, underly clothed scene whores.

Seems like a model for success to me just not something I would call an arcade.
