What a great thread! This is a much, much needed service for people interested in fully restoring these great old cabinets! Very nice ...

Sorry for the delay. Too much going on!
I'll just be honest, pictures don't do this stuff justice. This has a super nice texture to it that is hard to describe in words. It's not rough like sandpaper but easy to the touch. Looks really nice. Of course we can do without any texture too if you don't want a texture powder coat. Thoughts on this?
Since I know people are going to ask, here's how we did the raised letter piece. After it was all cleaned and stripped throughly, the logo had the powder wiped clean off the top of it before it was powder coated. So you are seeing a nice clean surface of the factory machined off logo just as it's meant to be. It looks amazing.
Let me know what you guys think. I'm thinking I need to start a different thread with prices at the front end of it on each of the things we are doing. Also dropped off a set of legs to a Sega cocktail today to be chromed, excited to see what those look like!
Do you have any pics of the before/after work you've done on all the Tapper parts? Besides the rail do you also clear coat the cup holders too?
Here's some shots of one of the Tappers we've done. You will get little pits still when you plate it here or there, almost no way around it with those cupholders being made from pot metal. But, we think we have a way to make them better than even the ones we've done before.
Oh man, I want you to do the rails, lockbar, and legs on my Judge Dredd like that!
Would it cost extra to have old powdercoat job stripped off? I had my SW cockpit door done by a guy who did a sloppy glossy job.
