Plants vs. Zombies 2...

My kids and I are big fans of the PvZ franchise, so when Plants vs. Zombies 2 came out as a free app, we were all over it. The in-app purchases don't sit well with me, but I think that's more of a generational thing. I'd be fine paying for the app, so why am I bitter about in-app purchases?

Anyway, the kids and I are loving it on the iPad so far. Anyone else playing it? Thoughts so far?

Been playing PvZ2 and i'm not too fond of the in-app purchases either, but I think it's just a preference thing. My daughter loved the first one and is enjoying the second one as well. I'm not too far into the game yet, but the new plants I've seen so far are pretty great. I like the different power ups and powers added to the game. The plant food and lightning have really come in handy.

Yeah, I think the plant food is really good idea. We love to try it on a new plant when we get one. So far, it's best to use plant food on the cabbage as they do damage to all zombies on the screen. Our favorite plant to use it on is threepeater, just because of the cool spray of peas.

i tried to download this game on my older iphone and got denied

anyone know when the console versions will be released?? xbox, ps3, vita etc??

Still not a peep about an Android version, or any other for that matter. Some of us don't buy into Apple's regurgitated garbage...
