Figured you guys would know the answer to this. On vacation in South Florida and looking to play some pinball.

On my last visit, my friend and I casually walked into an "Arcade" in Boynton Beach, FL...only to make a shocking discovery that we had entered a time warp back into the movie Cocoon. My friend and I were not in this place 10 seconds when it went to dead silent and about 100 people, none of whom were under the age of 80, stared at us as if we were from another planet. Apparently "arcades" here reflect video screens/slot machines that do not return any monetary value. WTF???

I'm looking to play some pinball or some old classic vids.
Located between Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

LOL, I don't think there are any. Boomer's is the closest thing. It's funny, you have a lot of South Florida "collectors" and none of them can get their act together to open an arcade. They have an expo once a year, but that's it. Makes no sense. My friend has an arcade in Miami but their selection is pretty small.

Meh. I was at the Boomer's in Boca many years ago. Fun place, but definitely not what I'm after. A shame to hear with the number of huge collections I hear about down here that there's several million people and no where to play. Bummer.
