hello, i got a pit fighter arcade board in the mail today, and when i plugged it in, everything worked fine, but the screen was upside down. upon further inspection, i could not find a dip switch bank, and thus i do not know how to right the screen. please help; pit fighter is soooo bad ass!

Hit the service switch on your machine and see if there's a setting for cocktail / screen flip.

i did, and there didn't seem to be anything about it...i'll check again, but i have been looking around on the internet, and i can't seem to find anything about the dip switches. are there dip switches on the board, or is it all in the test screen?

it also might be helpful to say that i have a horz. 2 player street fighter 2 cabinet, and i have not had this problem with this game (or double dribble, for that matter).

alright, do you know if there is a screen flip on the test menu? i really don't want to mess around with the yoke...

oh man...where the hell are those even located? i don't even know which ones to flip.

well, i tried changing the yoke, but when i powered the machine on, there was just a super bright line on the screen. i changed it back, and now the screen is vertically stretched. is there a way to change this back, or am i screwed? and if the yoke didn't work, is there any way that my pit fighter will ever play right?

Shut it off. Don't power it up until you post a pic of how the yoke wires are connected and get confirmation that it is correct. If you hooked it up wrong the first time, you may have damaged the yoke...

someone should have clarified that when you "switch the yoke wires" it means to just flip one of the plugs around. if it had like a yellow-green orientation, switch it on the pins to green-yellow. (sometimes this is brown-yellow)

lots of monitors have it where one of the yoke plugs is keyed with a gap in between so that you can't accidentally hook it up wrong.

going by what I said though, did you flip the horizontal yoke connector or did you change the plugs from one connector to the other? (what mod wants to know)
