pins I think should have been made and weren't

How about a MacGyver, or a Inspector Gadget pin.

Would have been cool to see what the designers would have done with those 2.

Inspector Gadget would be a great theme.

X-Men would be cool. The Magneto Multiball would no doubt kick ass.

I think Tron would make a cool pin as well.

Oh, and The Goonies! When you lock the final ball for multiball... "HEY, YOU GUYS!"

Three Stooges(although somebody did make 1).
Spy vs. Spy(only if the whole machine was black & white).

amusing thread. clearly not only are many of the guys here pin geeks, but the obvious si-fi geeks. i could suggest "facts of life" complete with tootie multiball. or how about wonder woman! come on guys...i'll leave you all to make the punchlines to that one.

Auto man

holy crap...that show was lost in the deep recesses of my mind until this post. i'm sure it would be absolutely HORRID now, but back when it came on i was totally hooked (of course, i was 8 years old or so).

that got me to looking up some stuff online for automan....in doing so, i came across this:

anybody remember that show? wow...talk about memories. :)

hahah yea i was kidding with that one. i did love that show as a kid tho.
However a Pin i would love to see and would be first in line to buy and willing to pay what ever it takes.....

You know what's kind of sad? WMS made a Dukes of Hazzard slot machine. A Funhouse too.

Particularly Funhouse, that pisses on my childhood almost as much as George Lucas did with Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

with the new movie coming out, what do you think the odds are that we'll see a tron pin at some point?

Yeah, with ramps lined with reflecty stuff and blacklight bulbs.

Also, a ramp with right (90 degree) angles and magnets or kickers at the elbows so when the ball gets there it instantly changes course and keeps its speed. It would be like the light cycles.

Or, can you imagine an upper mini playfield "discs of tron" with magna flip?

From the script:

"Sark: "Those of you who continue to profess
a belief in the Users will receive
the standard substandard training.
This will result in your eventual
elimination."

Sark: "Those of you who renounce this
superstitious and hysterical belief
will be eligible to join the Warrior
Elite of the MCP."

Then you have the choice of "let it drain" for easy bonus, or fight the bad guys for big points! And then if you chose the latter, you lose "training" points/bonus as the trade-off.

i've always said a zombie themed machine, doesnt even need to have a license. I really wanna start a petition.

I can already think of multiball modes and other modes galore. its not even funny. I want one bad.

As a huge George A. Romero fan, I always thought a Dawn of the Dead or Day of the Dead pin would be awesome.

A zombie pin has always been sorely missed.

As popular as they've been over the last 3+ decades (and never moreso than nowadays), it's ridiculous nobody ever made a pin featuring zombies.

It's really too bad that Sega Pinball wasn't still in business around 2002, otherwise they surely would have brought their "...of the dead" franchise to a real table with Pinball of the Dead.

A Howards End or Remains of the Day pin would kick a@@. Emma Thompson and Anthony Hopkins as a butler. Awesome Tea time multi-ball mode. One lump or two madame-extra balls mode.

How about one based on all of the SAW movies.

I only saw the first one (no pun intended). There's enough visual imagery to make a good pin and it would make for some great toys, but most straight-ahead horror themes have rather limited audiences. Only horror comedy seems to appeal widely.
