I know they are two completely different machines, but if you could get Xenon in exchange for your Pinbot, would you do it ?

I don't think I would trade a pinbot for a xenon unless the xenon was very nice and the pinbot was a basket case. But pinball is a personal thing. I think pinbot has a better game play.

I've had a couple of Xenon's - cleaned/shopped them both (basket cases when I got them). Pretty game, great art, really good audio - a nice package. Having said that - not very deep, and although they were attractive games and popular with a lot of folks, I sold them both fairly quickly.

I've not owned a Pinbot, but played it a ton BITD. More depth, more of a challenge, and I think if it's an even swap for games in comparable condition, I'd stick with the Pinbot personally.

Lots of assumptions - condition of the two games cosmetically and mechanically/electrically being comparable for example. If your PinBot is a beater, and they're offering up a nice Xenon in great shape, go for it - you can always sell the Xenon easily down the road if/when you get tired of it.

The games are not equivalent.

I have a Xenon, and really enjoy it.

Pinbot is a game that is three or four levels above Xenon. It is more fun, has a lot more features, and is better.

So if you have someone who is crazy and wants to trade you a Pinbot for a Xenon, I'd say yes.

If they want to trade you a Xenon for your Pinbot, I'd say no unless it comes with $3000 to $5000 more. (SWAG)

Xenon is older and thus uses older technology and simpler rules.

Even though Pinbot is newer, the production run was plagued with bad cabinet paint jobs (severe "planking" and paint color fade). Many Pinbots are real beaters.
