I'm not sure if the visor should be flush with the playfield or slightly lower than the playfield when it descends into the playfield. Mine appears to be slightly lower than the playfield and the ball frequently gets stuck to the right on top of it and I have to wait for the visor to cycle to release the ball.

In case I have my terminology wrong or you don't understand what I am talking about in this photo http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=1796&picno=21843 my ball gets stuck on the black part right on top of the red arrow.

How would I go about adjusting this so that it descends into the playfield properly?

Page 48 of the manual has an exploded view of the drop targe mech. I switch one out about 10 years ago and remember having to adjust it so it fit in there just right.

Would think it is a mix between the screws that hold the drop target mech in place on the sides or how the motor is mounted. You would want it as flush as possible to avoid playfield damage and making the ball jump.

Thanks. I end up adusting the screws in this picture and it worked. Unfortunately it seems to already be off again and I need to adjust them again. This is going to be a pain if I have to keep adjusting the screws.
