Hello,
I have a pinbot that sometimes, but not always, when the visor opens or closes, at the end of the cycle, reboots. Even when it cycles at power up, it does it once or twice then it is usually OK for a while. THen you'll be playing, and it'll do it. As I said, it doesn't do it all of the time. But, it is consistent with the fact that it reboots when the visor is at either the top or bottom of the stroke.
Here is what I have checked or tried:
Switch matrix diodes
Diode on relay board
Changed out relay
Changed out power supply
Check wiring for shorts, scrapes, etc.
Checked voltage during cycle - no drops

Thanks for any suggestions.

Yes the games restarts. At the fully open, or fully closed position. But not every time.
I'm familiar with how the game is "supposed" to operate. This is really baffling. I've literally spent hours on this.

I think I may have tried this, but I can't remember. I suppose I could try this and if it doesn't reboot, I could then try actuating the up and down switches manually and see if it reboots then. Thanks,

You could try just disconnecting the motor right at it - that way you could at least rule out the circuitry that triggers it to run.
