If any of you are ever in the Austin, Tx area, you need to check out Pinballz Arcade. This place is 13,000 Sq Feet of Arcade Heaven!! They just recently had a "soft" opening in November( Grand Opening is sometime in January I believe) and this arcade has over 80 pinball machines from the early 70's, to the 80's to the 90's and some of the newer Stern machines. If you have ever wished to be able to play all of the old classic machines, this place has them. They have two levels full of games, and they also have arcade machines scattered throughout as well and some of the redemption games. Most of the games are in excellent shape and a few are still being worked on. The top 10 pins they keep on the lower level next to each other so you can go down the list and play them all and compare if you want. I spent three hours in there and that was just playing pinball, there are plenty of games to keep you entertained for hours and the staff there are really friendly. I saw several families there when I was there and everyone was having a great time. They currently serve small snacks and drinks for now and are planning on putting a deli in soon for food. I am in Dallas and there is no where close to me that has the selection that Pinballz does, so I drove the 4 hours to Austin to check out this arcade. I can only say that it was worth the drive and sheer enjoyment I had and I will be doing it again sometime in the future.
Here is the website if you want to check it out, I will be supporting Pinballz and really hope that they are successful and are around for a long time.
