As some of you may or may not know - I am a collector of vintage video games (mainly 1976 - 1984ish). Today I was offered some pinball machines and it got me thinking... maybe I should start collecting a few pins... what could it hurt? Although I'm sure its like arcade games - cant just stop at one or two or three...
Anyway here is a few pictures of some of the pins that I was offered.

Well if you are going to collect pins that is a HELL of a start.

Add in a Road Show, and a Theatre of Magic and you are about set on pins.

Those are some of the most sought after, and best pins around.

Pinballs

I wasn't a fan of pins when I was hanging out in arcades as a youth.. Used to smash the flippers and if I lasted more than a minute or 2 I was lucky.. I've owned lots of arcade games over the last 15 years and I tend to get bored of them kinda quick..

Thats when I bought my first pin.. Since then, I'm a huge pin fan! Man, hopefully those pins were a decent price :) Heavy titles there, MM being the slam dunk! Batman is actually a lot of fun too!

Wow!!!! Thanks for the pics!!! I have been trying to remember the name of that Hitter's Rally game for a LONG time. I don't really get into too many redemption games, but that was a really fun one!

Not sure if I misunderstood, but your dates look off to me. Anyways, a Southpark, Medevil Madness, Star Trek:TNG, and No Good Gophers are all great pins. As for Batman, its nice but not as desirable. But for the love of mike, if someone offered you a Medevil Madness at any reasonable price(I.E. less than 3K), I hope you left the shoulder socket when you yanked his arm off. I don't even think I have ever seen a MM in my life. Let alone been offered one. As for the others, prices vary. I would say the others are about 1700 or less. Although, I haven't tried to buy that many at the auction. That's just the best I can recollect. Good luck.

P.s. If you don't buy MM, by all means pass the deal on to me.

This is just a tease. Being offered a MM, South Park, Star Trek Next Gen and asking us and saying you have to think about it. Ok then, here's my answer: NO, pass them up, they ain't worth it. You'll hate pinball. They're all the same. You just shoot a ball and slap the flippers. You'll be bored by your second game. Might as well just publically post the contact info to the games.

oh boy here we go... there has to be MORE to it. I thought that this group (KLOV) was about people who collect/fix/sell arcade games.. why does there always have to be some hidden intention or motive? All the time I see people post pics of ""look what I found today" or "warehouse raid pictures." I thought that is part of what we do here is share with others games we have purchased, games we have restored, and game buys we have found.

ST:TNG, NGG, Getaway would be a great start. MM is over-rated, imho, especially for what they usually sell for. The Bally/Williams fanboys can keep 'em!

Am I missing something here, you are the one who posted about this opportunity? That is an awesome selection of pins, whatever you don't purchase please share the contact with the rest of the community.

It all depends on how much this guy wants for them and what condition they are in. A nice Medieval Madness goes for around $8k. STTNG for $3k. If you can get those two for significantly less then that you should jump on them.

Well, most people are going to have a hard time believing you just lucked upon a MM sitting somewhere for a good price. Just about everyone, including my 70yr old neighbor, knows that a MM is one of the top collectible pins, and usually when people even think something like that they ask crazy money. :) a few quick searches on ebay or a google search for "Medieval madness for sale" would give them a pretty good idea just how valuable it is.

Either way, I really don't care.. I hope this is indeed a good find for a great price, and I'm glad to see another KLOV'er find these.. I have a nice pinball collection with a MM and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

MM and STTNG are great games, and NGG is pretty dang good also. Southpark is OK, but dated and can get old fast. The others I'd only pick up if it was a package deal and I could move them.

If you do end up passing on that hitters rally, please pass the info on this way. Probably out of my current price range, especially since I would have to have it shipped, but my curiousity has definitely been getting the best of me here.
