I am replacing the plexi on a T2. Should the replacement plexi be the same size as the translight? Someone replaced the plexi at some point and I think it's slightly bigger than it should be.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I did a bit of research and came up with:

27" x 18 7/8" x 1/8" clear tempered glass

In my first attempt I bought plexi which was the dimensions of what was in the machine, which was not the correct size, and was not glass It was too big and too thin, and scratched when I started trying to cut it myself (as opposed to the hardware store).

The old saying "don't assume the person who fixed it before you knew what they were doing" was not followed by me....

the clips that hold the translite to the glass should cover the gap between the translite edge and the glass...

Marco sells the glass. i found a glass place nearby that sells the glass slightly cheaper and no shipping
your dimensions are what i have, correct or not

I got the glass for $19 at the hardware store. They cut it. I know some prefer it with the edges rounded off but for $19 it'll do...especially since I wasted $13 on plexi on the first go around...
