I have a fish tales in excellent working condition. Leds under the playfield and back box. This thing looks awsome. Heres my question, I have a proposed trade for a Stern Harley Davidson 2nd edition. Should i pull the trigger? I dont know much about sterns quality or this pin but Its listed on pinside for more money than the fish tales. My goal is to upgrade to a GNR, my grail. All help and comments welcomed.

I could sell the fish tales for $3600-$3800 and I could sell the Harley assuming it was in great condition for around $4500-$5500.

Just for your info.

I do need a Fish Tales. If there any other pin you would be interested in???

Is it a good deal or not? Should I make the trade

Eh - I dunno...Harley kinda sucks, and it's value is kinda wild - the "usual suspect" pinball collectors don't want it at all...but a Harley fan might overpay for one. There are only 600 2nd Ediitions but not sure that makes it more desirable when a Harley is a Harley.

Make the trade if you've played the game and like it better than Fish Tales - that's the best advice I can offer. :)

No offense my good man, but here is my analogy on people like yourself. You are on the inside looking out whereas most of us are from the outside looking in. In otherwords we are accustomed to seeing/dealing with the john q general public pricing not retail like yourself.

Fish Tales is a better game than any of the HD pins IMHO. I tend to think the HD's hold their value due to theme and what it stands for rather than actual game play.
