I have a pending local trade to get a Rescue 911 pinball machine. I'm not familiar with this pin, and it is far enough away to where I would want to know that I want it, and an idea of its worth, before I make the trip.
911 was made in 1994, I've never played it, but watched in on youtube. It seems ok, but how often do I want to hear sirens over and over again??
I thought I knew most of the pins out there, but I must have missed this one.

Anyone play/own/like/hate this game?
So far, I think I'm leaning for it, and teh whole 'pinball unknown' :p
And, as far as condition, it is supposed to be trouble free, but not freshly shopped etc..
Lmk what you think everyone, this would be my first pin..
...and thanks for reading.

Yeah, don't pay more than 1000 for it. Don't pay more than 700 if unshopped. Not the greatest game in the world. Kind of tacky. Common break items are the helicopter, which usually needs a new rubber wheel (I think Pinball resource has them).

I figured with that heli there would be trouble. Not to mention having to wait for it every time you hit the ball into its activator, ugh..

What are you trading for it?

Rescue 911 is cool the first time you play...the helicopter is neat, the clear captive balls look cool ....then you realize it's easy and boring. Maybe a good first pin if you don't have much experience w/ pinball....but for the seasoned player/collector - ZzzzZZZZZzZZZzzzzzzZZZZ

Around here Rescue 911 doesn't get much love at all. I guess on lots of them the helicopter is broken. I was offered one, unshopped, some pf wear with a broken helicopter for $450 and I passed. There was also someone selling a prestine one, shopped, everything working the whole bit I think he was down to $600 or $700 before I saw it dissapear from craigslist.

Played 911 in a league way back when. Not really a fan. It's part of the "Gottlieb Dark Years" where there were many GTB games I never seemed to come across, and when I do find one I realize I wasn't missing anything. Save your time/money for a fun pin, imo.

Im starting the lean away from it now, I used to play a lot of pinball so I figure no one had this one for a reason I suppose. I have a friend who has played it and said he was not a fan of it either...

As far as what im trading is between a few games that were in my sales post from a while back..

It's ok.

Hellicopter can be a repair nightmare. The sounds/etc get to me personally, but it can be a decent family pin (it's not overly graphic that I remember). It's ok, I wouldn't pay more than 700 for one, IMO. I've seen them sell for as high as 1k.
