The pinball tournament sounds like fun!

Have you guys ever done a classic arcade tournament? I have always thought that it would be cool to have 10 or 12 classics that each person had to play and you could drop like 2 of the game scores (or perhaps everyone is required to play all 12 and keep their scores for all 12). It would be a little tough to quantify who wins overall, but could certainly be done. Perhaps you allocate a number to each place in the scoring order - for example the first place person gets 10 points, 2nd place 9 points and so on for each game. Then you add up the points for each person (derived from what place they took overall on each game) and you find out who wins overall.

It seems like it would attract some gamers and would be a lot of fun at your place. I have brought it up with the guys at pinball pete's up here in Ann Arbor, but they don't have a lot of the cool classics that you guys' do. Just and idea, but I would certainly be in. Perhaps it could be like $10 to enter. I think you guys charge $5 for unlimited play, so in reality you are getting a bunch of people in there for twice as much. Perhaps offer up half the purse for the first few places and the house keeps the rest.

Not sure if anyone will offer some competition to that dude from BH that has a bunch of the records over there, but I would give it a try.

We would like to do something just like that, keep reminding me, maybe have something after the 1st of the year? Kevin

We have a couple guys talking about running a "Players Tournament" The arcade will supply the place and the playerts will organize and run the tournaments. They want to have at lest one tournament a month and pick a different game(s) ever month. Contact "Crazykongfan" on KLOV if you are interested.
