My first time ordering from Steve Young at the Pinball Resource...wow...they crossed shipped and had the obscure parts I needed for my 1964 Gottlieb Sea Shore. I needed some pop bumpers and the metal bracket "light shade" for the roto target and he had em! I can't seem to get the metal shade in place but I'll figure it out. Steve was kinda straight to the point on the phone but he got me the parts I needed fast! Highly recommeneded for any of you guys looking for the obscure stuff.

The other day a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to go with him to visit Bob Roberts to pick up some parts. I am pretty sure he was afraid to go by himself.

Just placed my first order today. When I heard the "no paypal and no credit cards" I immediatley thought of Bob. Looking forward to the same great service I get from Bob.

Steve Young, PBR rocks!

Longtime customer, first time poster. Steve Young is a credit to the hobby. He does shoot straight and direct, helps if you know what you want/have a list when you get on the phone or email.

Steve is often blunt and to the point. He and Gloria both do an excellent job helping customers find part numbers. Steve can get a bit short when you make no effort to find the part number before ordering. Still, PBR is always my first choice for pinball parts. I much prefer dealing with a real person over the phone versus an internet order.

Stever put me in my place by telling me that Williams didn't use yellow flipper rubbers and that I ordered some black rings with my white ones.

At least he shipped me the flipper rubbers. I got white 4" rings, even though I wanted black ones for the STTNG slingshots. Dammit, dude. :p I just let it slide...I'll replace them with black when the white ones wear out.

I like Steve Young. I have ordered from him many times, and my customer number with him is from way back in the day.

I had heard the "horror stories" about how abrasive he could be, but I called him up anyway.

He was the first person I ever ordered parts from. I was young, had no idea what I was doing, and he was extremely helpful, pointed out that I could get alternate parts to do the job better, and shipped my first order to me before I paid for it. WHO DOES THAT??!!

Definately an asset to the pinball world. I just wish he still attended the Allentown show :(

I just make sure my shit is wired tight when I order from him. Also, he has a ton of stuff not listed on his website the he has for sale

I always call and talk to him while Im driving, made many orders that way, he can sometimes be blunt but I just let on that Im a rube who lives in the sticks of Nebraska and he usually laughs at me, my parts ship quick and I pay within his 30 days no problems... he will help you too, but dont be afraid to make fun of yourself..

I completely agree. Steve is a great asset to the hobby. Just remember one thing. Don't forget/lose your customer number!

i prefer going online and ordering parts in a cart and using payp*l or c card so i can order 24 hours, the phone lines are always bizee at PBR as well.
ive tried to email what i wanted in the past but it wasnt fast enough response wise.
i guess it just pends how fast u need parts.
i use marcos and pinball life the most because they ship fast and i can order at 3 am if i want, thats me thow.
