I changed all the rubber rings in my Getaway pin which took forever but everything came out fine... but I can't change any the bulbs in the playfield.

What's the trick to pulling the lamps out of the playfield to change them?

I know they just snap in. Shouldn't they just come out with a little force? I can't seem to get them to budge. Is there a nice tool to pop them out?

worst case scenario, you can unscrew the mounts from underneath and change them. I've done that before when I couldn't get a good grip on them from above.

I was thinking that but I didn't want to do that if there was just an easy way I didn't figure out.

Guess I might just have to do it.

Are you talking about the bayonet style 555's or the push and twist 47's? The 555's in the black sockets come out by twisting the black socket counter-clockwise a bit, then pulling them out. Sometimes i find them in there so tight they won't twist, so I use a pair if needlenose to get a good grip and twist.

If it's a 47, just bend the socket down to get to the bulb, then twist and pull it out of the socket...

The 44 / 47 type often require pushing in a little bit while turning counterclockwise. Some are much more stubburn than others.
