I'm just now getting in the market for these things, and have no idea of the typical range. So what do the following pins tend to sell for? Thanks!

Jurassic Park
Terminator 2
F14 Tomcat
High Speed
Shadow

If you base it on good condition, working:

Jurassic Park $1200-$1500
Terminator 2 $1000-$1500
F14 Tomcat $800-$1100
High Speed $800-$1200
Shadow $1000-$1500

+/- condition of playfield, cabinet artwork, hacks, etc

Awesome, thanks. Mind if I ask a few more?

Hook
Back to the Future (is it really as bad as I've read?)
Lethal Weapon 3
Space Shuttle

By no means are these prices set in stone, but they might help you out some http://www.bostonpinball.biz/eBay112310.htm. Condition is really a big factor when pricing stuff. If it is a good looking game at a good price, but it has a busted ramp that is impossible to find, then you have a problem. Then that good price is not so good anymore.

If it's a first game, try to buy one that is working 100%. Also try to find someone local that knows pins that can help you decide if it is a good deal or not. Do your homework. Read everything you can on the machine you are considering. If you are considering a Jurassic Park, check out the service bulletins on Stern's website. Good stuff to check when you go to look at the game. Learn about credit dots on B/W games. Always check the batteries out on the circuit boards. Most of this information can be found on here. Just take your time and search the forums.

Good luck with your search.

His prices are all spot on except the The Shadow. This game is truly gaining in popularity and price. I'd say $1800-$2000 depending on condition.

I sold a nice one (no fade with a near perfect playfield) for $1500. What kills this game is the translite picture. I thought it was a good game and I would have keep it but the artwork sucks.

I still say the average condition one is under $1500 since most of them will have cabinet fade and a wear spot on the playfield magnet. The ramp diverters are sometimes messed up too on the average one.

All too funny is you are 1000% correct about the artwork. That back glass is absolute shit. The rest of the artwork is decent enough and it's a game that grows on a person. First couple times I played I thought "dear lord what a suck ass game" but as I played it more I found it enjoyable.
RGP crowd is helping this grow in value. I suppose for now a person could call The Shadow a "value pin".

For the record if any of you want to sell these pins for these prices feel free to contact me. If they are at least 8 outa 10 machines overall Ill have no problem paying those prices if i need them.

Whatever it is, it's too much. Horrible first pin, the jeep feature isn't reliable and the game is a turd. Buy a fun game for your first.
