Pinball pcb board cleaning

Yes, just make sure and remove all of the socketed chips before doing so. Many guys put the board in the over afterwards to ensure dryness but I just usually let them air dry.

When I wash any PCB I remove all of the socketed chips like Oyrk Zinyo suggested and in addition I blow them dry with my air compressor and sit them in front of a fan to air dry. I stand them up so any water that might have been left has the possibility of running off.

I've never tried the oven trick but I have heard of others doing it. Just don't keep them in for too long and make sure the temp is below 300.

I use scrubbing bubbles and a toothbrush instead of a dishwasher. I use these on all pcbs, light burgs and harnesses. Removing socketed chips is recommended and I wouldn't do it on a
board with dipswitches.

Blow dry with compressed air, use an inline moisture trap, and sit in front of a fan for a couple of days and good to go.

I'm not discounting the dishwasher, I just do it differently.
