What do you guys use to clean them all up?

I saw one thread recently where someone too a wire wheel to them and then repainted.

Anyone ever use Silvo or another common metal cleaner/polish on them?

I don't want a super shine, but I think they could look a lot better than they do currently.

I suppose chrome. They're not painted, but they sure as hell don't shine!

Nice one! I tried that on 80scoinops with his Getaway, but I struck out as much as you will.

Looks like my wirewheel's gonna be getting some more use this weekend, if I get a few minutes without rain...

If they are steel or chrome, Novus #2 and some #0000 Steel Wool will shine them up pretty good.

If they were more of the brushed steel, or are very rusty, you can sand them then paint them with some metallic aluminum Rustoleum spraypaint or even a hammertone gray and they look pretty good....

I use a wire wheel brush to remove all the paint and rust. Hit the inside corner with a Dremel brush. Wipe them down with NAPA rust dissolver. Rinse, Primer, then paint with Hammered Metal or Hammered Black spraypaint.

Just remember you don't have to remove ALL of the paint. Just remove the rust and rough up the paint that's left. You won't get your paint to stick any better than the original stuff so there's no good reason to sand them down to bare metal.
