OK, this is probably profoundly stupid to ask, but how compatible are pinball legs with each other? I have a williams systems 6 widebody, and I'm looking for replacement legs. Someone has system 11 legs. Would those work? Is it ok to use legs from a different model like that? I've never had to consider this question before, lol!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I've used different legs on a game.
Big thing to watch for is pitch (angle) of table and bolt pattern to fit.
I found it best to just get the right legs for the table.

Williams has been using 28.5" long legs since 1967 on all their machines.

Legs from a System 11 machine will be fine on yours.

I read that the ribs on the legs are different between systems, does that make any difference, functionally/structurally?

The main difference is appearance. Starting with System 11, Williams started embossing the legs. This helps prevent the leg from twisting when kids kicked it plus the leg could support more weight.
