Is it possible to move a pinball machine in a compact car (A 2007 Civic coupe to be exact)?

I am envisioning folding the passenger seat back and guiding it in through the passenger door (after removing the legs and backglass). Is this possible?

I wish I had a truck...

I can fit one in my scion xA which is tiny, but it is also a hatchback. I don't know if you would be able to fit one through a door. My guess is no, but it is worth a shot. :)

I am thinking it might be possible if I guide it in, coin-door side first (the shorter side) to rest on top of the passenger seat. Has anyone tried this before or known someone who has?

I doubt it's going to fit. The body of a pinball machine is a lot bigger than it looks. I can see it possibly fitting in through the passenger door, but I *can't* see it fitting in the car with you still able to drive it. And, also, removing the headbox from a solid state game is not very easy. EM's come apart no problem, but most solid state games, the headbox is hinged, and not removed when moving.

No troubles if you had a hatchback or a station wagon. Best bet is to find a friend with a larger vehicle and bribe him with the promise of pizza and beer.

Yeah this does not look hopeful... I will have to bribe a friend, or if that fails, rent a truck at Home Depot...

Pinball machines are a lot bigger than they seem...

I have an Accord and looked at it just once. Then laughed at myself for even thinking about it.

Go rent a truck. Avis, National, Budget, etc. all rent pickups midweek pretty cheap. Mileage is free (much to my delight and their dismay at times :D).

if it was a hatchback i'd say most likely, coupe tho i'm unsure. if the playfield can be separated from the scoreboard i'd say possibly.

Keeping in mind the rear seats fold down, and if you remove the legs you could prolly fit the playfield through and the scoreboard behind the drivers seat.

I use to own a 91 civic hatch, and i've seen people cram more stuff in them then you could imagine. including removing the passenger seat so a motor could be transported in it's place.

I have a 04 civic coupe - not possible. I broke down and finally bought a truck (chevy silverado).
