Looking at getting a High speed pinball machine as my first pinball. I havent went to look at it yet. The seller says he just got it and when he turns it on all the lights like up and work and the display says adjust. Any ideas what the adjust means? Is this normal or an easy fix?

I would also be concerned about the condition of the batteries/board as well. If those batteries have corroded and leaked on to the board, you can have a whole other set of problems..

Looks OK... That's an older-style battery holder. They are known to not properly hold the batteries, so your issue is likely either dead batteries or a failing holder. The upgraded holders are available from all of the standard pin suppliers.

any idea what type of batteries it would take. Make I could take some along when I look at it.

Pop new batteries in there, suddenly have it working and you might find out its no longer for sale. ;)

Keep in mind when you change the batteries it erases saved data or something. I changed mine just for fun to make sure they didn't get old & leak...and everything wigged out. But it was an easy fix, basically had to open the coin door & cycle through the tests & viola, working again.
