Although I love these forums what are some other forums to check out that are any good? This one just doesn't get updated as often as I would like. I work 10 hour shifts and towards the end I am looking for any kind of distraction I can get my hands on!

Excellent. I will definately check them out. Taking a half day today so I can finnish up my terminator 2 restoration. Just have to finnish touching up the sides so I'm taking off work 5 hours early to finnish painting. Then it will be finnished!!!! I'll post pics as soon as I'm done.

Great to have you back stangbat. I haven't seen many posts from you the past few weeks.

RGP is probably the most extensive source of information. Although I recommend not relying on Google Groups to view it. RGP archive is a more forum like interface way to access RGP. If you are unfamiliar with Usenet, you can find some information here:

Just beware that RGP is unmoderated, so trolling and baiting happens.

Pinside's forums are pretty active.

IMHO RGP is not "much" different than this forum ... really. Larger percentage of people are nice but it's the few assholes that tend to ruin the fun.

And another decent forum is:
http://www.maaca.org/

Higher volume of posts there, but volume ≠ quality. I use RGP primarily to dig around for tech-related information on occasion, but there are definitely some interesting threads that pop up there.

Yeah, RGP and Pinside are both great. Pinball Bash and some of the European or Canadian pinball sites have good communities built around them as well.

Been an RGP subscriber for 10 years and definitely prefer this site since I have found it. Too much "noise" on the other group, and of course the 'select few' of the mix as you suggested.

Since everyone else is throwing out sites all over the globe, might as well check out NY area too =)

We are new and slowly building a nice community across NY and surrounding states but anyone is welcome.
