I got this book for Xmas (The Complete Pinball Book: Collecting the Game and Its History by Marco Rossignoli ) it has some great pics and it's a pretty good read. So I decided to get another one.

This time I bought (The Pinball Compendium: 1982 to Present by Michael Shalhoub) Wow what an amazing book, I highly suggest you buy it if you love pinball. It's a bit pricey but it has great insider pics and WAY more detail about different machines.

If you were ever looking for a pinball book to buy I would suggest getting the Pinball Compendium, you will NOT be disappointed. I bought mine from the Pinball Resource, Steve just shipped it along with some parts I had ordered....

End crappy book review....

There are multiple compendium book. They are pretty much era based and all are good reads. I don't have the modern one in your pic but maybe I'll get it as a birthday or Christmas present...

Ya I've seen the earlier versions, I'm definitely more interested in newer pins though. I may splurge and get the older versions as well someday. No rush :)

I think I have them all.
I bought from Amazon for a pretty good price.

The books are loaded with great color photos.

I'm partial to the middle Compendium book--best of the EM era plus the early SS. Better pf shots than the more recent book. In fact, I've been using it to put together a want list for EMs. (Someday...) Although the newer book has more info/interviews about the designers/artists, if you like the history. Haven't checked out the early Compendium yet.
