I am seriously considering selling something that I have been holding onto for awhile as the chances of finding another one would be extremely difficult.

I have 1 NOS/NEW Pinball 2000 Glass

This is correct for:

REVENGE FROM MARS
&
STAR WARS EPISODE 1

This has NEVER been used and has been packed away in a box.

It does have the Pinball 2000 logo.

It does have the mirror coating specifically used in these pins.

I dont have a set price but will entertain any serious offer.

Local Pickup would be preferred but I can ship. Shipping might be a little pricey.

So.... This is now sold but when I opened the box to make sure their was enough packaging materials in it to be shipped safely, I noticed that 2 pieces of glass were shrinkwrapped together.

The original invoice was at the bottom of the box and when I pulled it out and looked at it, I did purchase 2 of them. YAY!!!

Thanks to everyone for all of the interest.

Whoa, good for you on that sale. I think I'm going to handle my scratched up pinball 2000 glass with velvet gloves going forward. Hopefully someone will produce them again in the future.

I had quite a few people message me mostly from Facebook.

There ended up being a little bidding war between 3 people and then all of the messages came in once it sold.

I never understood when people send you a message saying "Interested" but dont reply back when you message them and then when it sells they get all butt hurt. I had 7 people get back to me only after it sold saying that they want it.

At the price it sold for I am tempted to sell the other one but if I pick up another RFM or SWE1 with no or broken glass I am screwed.

Yea, the facebook marketplace can be a hot mess. I don't get it either. My favorite is getting the "is it availalbe" 30 seconds after I post it.

The solution is easy... Just offer it only here in KLOV with the price you want. Far less drama, you're being transparent about it, and it will go to someone in need of the glass. I have done with several times and it's nice to know it's going onto a game with a damaged or missing part. It's nice seeing the before and after pictures too. I have a SW:E1 with a nice glass. Otherwise, I would have made an offer for it.

Back in the RGVAC days, there were live "auctions" for rare parts. That was the ultimate in transparency since everybody could see what everyone bid.

99% of what we sell is at a fixed price.

This is such a specialty niche item with very little pricing history to look up that I had no idea what to price it at. Therefore MMAO was really the best way to go for what it is.
