Well, technically it's pin #5, but my original two pins are now gone. Big thanks goes out to some KLOV buds (Thatguy & 30fathomdave), and pinsiders tonymiddendorf and The Postmaster for making this happen for me. I had been looking for a JP for about a year and a half. Every time I thought I had a deal secured, something would happen to kill it. I ended up contacting LesManley and grabbing his Congo, as I thought that would be the closest I'd ever get to owning a pin inspired by a Michael Crichton book. After getting my Congo home, I could think of no better pin than JP to put next to it, so I doubled my efforts. Well, I posted here that I was looking for a JP and was directed to Pinside. Within a week, I had a deal struck with local pinsider The Postmaster and picked my JP up last Sunday. Snapped a couple of pics of it in its new home. The last one is my son's arm raised in victory after I told him he'd killed the T-Rex. As you can see, I need the topper, so if anyone has one for sale, LMK!

Put the legs on that Turtle pin
Especially with kids, you would never forgive yourself if it fell.

The legs are out getting powder coated. It's now strapped down, no worries. It was the only way I could take the legs off and not have to put it flat on the ground. I tried asking for a set of used pinball legs over at pinside but no one responded.

Very nice Phet. JP is a great game.

Suggest:

Cliffy protector set for the three scoops
The Papo Velociraptor and Pteranodon toys
DE flipper rebuild kits (if that has not been done within the last few years)
Replace the captive ball with a white ceramic powerball (the "egg")
Make sure the ROMs are the most recent; very easy and cheap to update

Have fun!

Which are the most recent? I have no idea. Where do I get the white ball?

Jurassic Park
USA CPU 5.13 (C5), USA Display 5.10 (ROM 0)
$15.00

You can see the ROM version at boot up or when you go into diagnostics.

If your versions are older, you need to replace both the display ROM and the CPU ROM, but not the Sound & Speech ROM Set.

The ceramic Powerball was used in Twilight Zone (immune to the magnets, natch).

Best to find one used, if possible since they are 50 bucks new.

I like how it looks in JP, though:

Good to see you got one. Another thing to check on the data east pins are the fuseholders on the boards. I happen to check mine and found at least half of them cracked and needing to be replaced. - Barry

Did you see your new floor?

Yes I did. :) I have been admiring that thread since you started it. :) In our basement gameroom remodel, ceiling is now sheetrocked, doing the walls tomorrow. Taped and mudded next week, then paint and carpet and I will have a proper home for her. I have room in the 3rd car garage for her anytime though if you finish with it soon. I'm really excited, not just to have a Tron, but to have one that has been gone through and spruced up.
