Posted this in the repair forums and no one has any 411 on one. Do they exist? All of my lights are out on the bezel and I think a board might be missing but I can't fine a manual for a dedicated. Do they exist? Anyone have any info?

Necro bump… just picked up this game and have the same issue & 1P/2P buttons also don't light. Bulbs have been replaced. Fuses on lamp driver are good.

Did you ever resolve this issue and if so how did you do it please?

look. no they do NOT exist. 0%. this game manual was ONLY released as a kit. try to prove that otherwise. good luck on your endless journey into never finding one.

@dethfactor in a later thread mentioned finding one on Amazon then uploaded it, though some of the schematics were funky. He later posted losing or misplacing the sacred non-kit manual.

Hoping someone here downloaded and saved a copy.

Thanks for the positive vibes ;)

it has nothing to do with being negative or positive. it's a fact that this manual does. not. exist.

The manual does exist. Believe what you want. I had one and lost it after letting some moron run it through the new auto scanner feature on their new copying machine at a short lived job I had in downtown chicago. They closed my department after 3 months and it got lost cleaning out my desk. I only found out later that the damn scanned file I had was corrupted on the damn player light bots schematics.

If (and when) I locate a dedicated Pigskin manual I will make sure you get a copy or upload it.... Along with any fellow Pigskinners that want one ;)

Here.. I had to fight my feble cobwebbed brain for like 20 logins and do a bunch of housecleaning on my hosting provider but I moved it -
HERE IT IS! https://spacecarpet.com/arcade_manuals/pigskin_dedicated.pdf
10 MORE YEARS!! 10 MORE YEARS! 10 MORE YEARS!
And if I ever do find the physical manual. I'm going to get it signed and a photo of it taken with Brian Colin and put it in a sealed uv resistant cube with the rest of my pigskin memorabilia (signed hat, board game, catalog) for which my kids will promptly throw away with the rest of my stuff once I go cold.
Please note schematic pages 3-14 - 3-22 are missing... because 2010 top of the line office auto scanners apparently didn't need those pages... *sadtrombone*

Unfortunately around this time. I found another machine in better shape with the light boards working and sold my old one to Doc Mac at galloping ghost arcade. I'm not sure if he ever got it solved. I need to talk to him about a gun. I'll bring it up to him and see if he ever got it resolved: Our luck he has a room somewhere full of manuals.

Honesty thinking about it. If the light boards don't work. I'd try replacing the caps if that doesn't solve the issue it's probably a board issue. Maybe try swapping with a known good working board. Or I'd you wanna ship your light boards to me. I'd be willing to test them in my machine.

I have a trade lined up for a working main and sound board (no lamp driver) so hoping I get lucky and swapping the main will fix it. It is the light boards and 1P/2P buttons that don't light.

My buddy @KaBoom1701 might stop by later today and try a few troubleshooting tricks.

Hoping it's not the lamp driver as I figure those might be harder to come by vs the main and sound boards.

Thank you, I may take you up on the gracious offer if we hit a dead end :)

When you have time and if not too much trouble, would it be possible to snap some pictures of the boards inside so I can compare to mine to see if all is connected the same way?

Yeah. I'm moving stuff around this weekend to put a few games on location. If I don't get around to it this weekend I'll take a look during the week.
