The wiring also says "MAIN HARNESS ALIENS".

Not that I'm doubting AS in any way, but how is there any way to authenticate that so that its validity cannot be questioned in years to come? Is there any type of shipping doc or manifest that validates the serial number?

No. I purchased this from another collector, who had purchased it from an ex-employee. The game was the development machine in the lab. It did not have a coin door when I received it (there is no wiring for the coin door). I added one, so I could bring it to California Extreme.

The monitor is a very early 6100 with a proto wirewrap limiter board, and a proto HV cage.

It works, and I have brought it to CAX many times.

That is wicked! Not as cool looking as a regular Tempest, but definitely more awesome overall.
