I m pretty sure it s cap kit but wanted to check if it s something else or not.

What happened were when I got this cab and there were no video.. I had replaced another power switcher since it doesnt power up at all.

It finally powers up and picture is all scrambled!!! I tested and swapped another board. Same result so I know it s not board issue.

I tried to play around with V-hold/V-pos and H-hold/H-pos to best possibility and best result i get is this. (check thumbnail attached on the 4th post) thanks

I could barely seeing the game running....

CAP KIT? or ?

Are you trying to post it directly from your computer? The img link won't work that way. You'll have to attach it instead. The img link is for photos already on the web somewhere, such as Photobucket or Flickr...

1) What game is it?

2) How is the monitor sync connected?

1. street fighter 2 turbo (tested on my other super street figther and it came out same result..) tested both game on my other cab.. it works perfectly..

2. Sync?? u mean the white one from jamma connector to the video board? or the pots??

define.. im still learner!!!!

Check pots on remote board - replaced the ones that are cracked :) I'd also cap it too.

i checked all pots and there is no cracked.. all very good firm..

weird thing is..

first picture is the orginially power switcher that came with the cab. i decided to swap to other power switcher and i get the scramble picture.. i had decided to swap back and test that power switcher and that power switcher works now.. noticed the picture get better but still scrambled.. does it has do somnething with wiring??

I had noticed there is one brown wire with U leave hang loose and seeing "FG" not being used.. and there is +5V 11A and +12V 3A and AC 115V (orginally power switcher)

I replaced to other one..

+5V11A and +12V 2A and there is no AC with numbers.. but i can see the ranges.. White one is the orginially.. please let me know if this is perfectly..

do i need to use FG?

Maybe. let's see a pic of how the video connector is connected to the chassis...

what they're referring to is that there are multiple pins for monitor sync.

the one you want to connect to is the Composite Sync.

if I'm not mistaken, the pin order on the video signal header goes Red, Green, Blue, Ground, then skip a pin, and the 6th pin is Composite Sync.

ordinarily you shouldn't need to use the other 3 pins unless you're running in an older cab that came with like a K7000 or something, and I forget which of those does what.

EDIT: if it's connected properly, then you're going to have to adjust the V-sync and H-sync on the remote board, but I doubt it, it looks like you have no sync at all.

i am not expert with soldering unless i willing to learn and fuck it up for once so i can be good later on..

how about getting working chasis.

if so.. i have to get p717 is all what i need?

what I said above is how all my games running U5000s, K7400s and K7500s are.

just using the standard Midway JAMMA video harness. just saying. :)
