Could t get the camcorder to get a good recording of the Monitor. So I went ahead and took out the Monitor chassis and it doesn't look like the caps were ever replaced. It also has an orange pancake like transistor or what not that I believe goes to the degauser if I said that right. It's all cracked but test good. Fuse 501 was good, the pins on the board were fine for some reason someone put solder on them but when I took it off there was nothing wrong there. So one of the fingers is curling up so I will take some super glue and glue it back down. So far I can't see the proble. Just wondering will caps cause a black screen ? The Monitor has really bad burn-in. I never noticed it before but I guess it was because of the anti glare plastic or tinted black screen that lays over it. Is there any way to fix that as well ?

burn-in is not fixable because its the phosphor that is missing off the inside of the tube. post a picture of your issues in question so you can get proper resolutions and don't cause more damage when fixing.

Here is the link to the video showing what it does. Seeing how the sound went out prior to the whole Monitor I have no clue if it's playing blind or not.
