Hi folks.... About three months ago, having the gameroom lined with Pins (8 of em) i decided i had more of a sentimental link and love for vids.... They had a big impact on my childhood. So, out went some of the pins (except for the ones i really love) and in came the games.
Each game on its way got the strip down and cleaned from top to bottom, some were repainted, some redecaled. The exceptions were the Double Dragon (thanks Phet) and the Gauntlet (thanks AtariScott) as they were exceptional when they got here. The others, were caked with skank that needed to be removed in order for me to enjoy them and ensure a longer life.
Here are the pics:

Some notes on my machines (allow me to indulge on this - i loved this whole process, and thank KLOV for some of the help along the way):
Tempest - first one in. Was just filthy when i got it. Plays and looks great now.
Star Wars - man this was beat to crap. Side art was torn up, huge holes drilled in the front (like a 8 inch hole where someone drilled through). Boards were dangling from the inside during the shipping too - surprised they didnt snap in two from the transport. Looks and plays great now.
The Robotron, Stargate and Dig dug minis - Got these in trade for a pin from a fellow Klov'r (thanks!). The Robotron has been torn down and cleaned, awaiting a re stencil, but plays great. The dig dug is running a 320 in one multi. The stargate is a casualty of lack of space and is just hanging out in the back.... I dare anyone to try and play it like that. The games are perfect for the room i have as they have a lower footprint, and they are very good looking too.
The Pins - My favorites - SM, IM and AFM. Every gameroom needs a Pin. These three are blasts to play.
Gauntlet - got this one from AtariScott - it is SWEET. Really nice condition, great pics and plays wonderfully. Didnt have to do much to this one.
Frontline - This one was rotton when it got here. Rusted out from top to bottom. Got the full makeover.
Crystal Castles - bought this one from a reseller in Chicago. Needed some work - was a little rusted out / filthy. Looks like new now...
Paperboy - oh boy. This is the problem child of the whole lineup. Has a 25 inch monitor installed, which is cool, but in order to move that in, the boards were taken off the back door and stapled to the right side of the cab - takes away alot of the originality and causes issues with chips reseating. Did some reworking, not perfect, but more secure now. I would love to redecal, but dont have the time now.
Double dragon - Got this one from Phet here - no need to say more.
Thanks for looking!
