Pics of my Star Wars/Gameroom!

Very nice gameroom and star wars collection! Wow looking at those pictures brought my childhood memories back again those were great toys!

One day I might get to that...I've got 20+ containers filled with new and vintage items. I was going to line my 1000sq ft basement with shelves and show it all off. Now, I'm more 50:50. If I could get $.10 on the dollar for all of the new stuff I bought, or get it in trade for vintage stuff, I'd probably do it. Either that, or I might just open up the new stuff and let my kids play with it little by little over the years.

First of all, cool screen name. I agree on the $.10 on the dollar for all the new crap. I've either sold most everything or opened them up for my kids to play with. I do have a little bookcase next to my Gyruss that has a bunch of kids meal Star Wars toys from years past. I still like those a lot -- especially the bobbleheads.

Of course you need to keep the vintage stuff. Those will always hold their value.

I have to give mention to Gregatron who has been invaluable to me in regards to my games. He's fixed monitors (including my Star Wars), pinball lights, helped me transport games, given me advice, etc, etc. Seriously, you won't find a nicer guy in the video game collecting and restoring world. (He still needs to post some pics of his pins he got from our warehouse sale though!!).

Awesome collection! Games look good too ;)

LOVE the A-Wing Pilot on the wall. He's my favorite from the last vintage release.

Very, very nice! I like seeing themed rooms like this. Makes me think I'm not so strange after all (yeah right). I wish I had half the Star Wars stuff I owned as a kid, but unfortunately, my parents and garage sales took care of that. Now I only have a few of my very played-with figurines in a display case.

Beautiful collection and gorgeous games!

wow, just reading this thread now...

great collection of games, pins, and figures~! these are all of my fav things.

love the carded sw figs and all the cool boxed ships and playsets. brings back alot of good memories from my childhood (esp the boxed death star, still got mine).

were any of these figs from your childhood? or did you collect them over the years?

paul, you got good taste man! chris

Wow, Paul, very nice! What a great selection of classics and the pins are awesome as well. I can't believe all the SW collectibles you have! Does your arcade have a name yet? It has to be something Star Wars related... "The Dark Side Arcade" "Mos Eisley Arcade" "Sabres & Silverballs" :)

Thanks for posting the pics

Hey, I know that room. Plenty of SW stuff to go around. There are some treasures in there for sure. By the way Paul, I'll be in your area Sunday, text me and let me know if you'll be around.

Is RC R2D2 in there somewhere?

Very nice vintage collection there!!!! I have a pretty big collection myself, but I still keep them in the boxes at the parents... Especially love that Empire boxed AT AT!!! I just acquired the ROTJ boxed Tie Interceptor myself.....

Some of these "Power of the Force" figures still go for some good money! Also kudos to the "Tri-logo" Anakin!

No RC R2-D2 yet. I'll probably get it right around the time I get a RC Sandcrawler -- which is never. I'm trying to build up my loose figure collection first. Of course, I won't be able to afford any of the POTF figures. I think I only have the Luke in stormtrooper costume but the helmet is a repro.
