I feel like my Star Wars/Gameroom is as close to my vision as possible so for the first time I'm posting some pics of it. I've been collecting for a little over three years and started off with an Asteroids for $300. At first my room was wall-to-wall Star Wars stuff but, like most of us, quickly steamrolled into an all-out video arcade collecting frenzy. I think I've owned 18 games total and am very happy with my current lineup of 10 video games and three pins.

One of the great aspects of this hobby is the history behind acquiring each game. Every game has its own story. I can recall how much I paid for each game, where I got it, what was wrong with it, who helped me move it, etc, etc.

Also, the people I have met and the friendships that have been made through these games are an extra bonus. Meeting a lot of KLOVers through me and Gregtron's warehouse sale five months ago was a blast (that's how I got those sweet three pins!). Hope you guys enjoy the pics.

Wow !!!! Paul.....
looks awesome! I used to own a lot of Star Wars stuff to, but sold it for Video games...DOH!
good collection of games also.

Thanks Dave, yeah, my SW collection was pretty sweet but I sold a lot of my high end stuff for games. I haven't looked back! You actually ALMOST had me collecting Shogun Warriors when I saw your's, but luckily I resisted. I wouldn't have any room to show them off anyway.

So awesome Paul! You cleaned up well and the new pins look great!

Glad you were able to organize your toy shelf instead of everything scattered all over the floor. So are the kids not allowed to play with them anymore or you just have to keep cleaning up after them? :D

Hi Jess, I'm constantly cleaning up the Star Wars toys after my girls. I wouldn't want to have it any other way though. It makes me a proud papa. I'm glad you have been able to see my stuff in person. (There might be a Donkey Kong in my future as well).

I'm glad too. I hope I can make another trip down sometime and hang out. That would sweet if you picked up a DK. You already have a nice mix of games, but that would be a great addition.

Nice. I like the tetris-like stack of SW toy boxes.

Awesome! Very nice selection of games; and I really envy the Star Wars collection as well. I don't think I've ever seen so many SW collectables in one space before. Congrats on decorating the way you wanted. Looks great!

One day I might get to that...I've got 20+ containers filled with new and vintage items. I was going to line my 1000sq ft basement with shelves and show it all off. Now, I'm more 50:50. If I could get $.10 on the dollar for all of the new stuff I bought, or get it in trade for vintage stuff, I'd probably do it. Either that, or I might just open up the new stuff and let my kids play with it little by little over the years.

Wow. Not your typical "check out my game room" post.

After seeing it, I want to be "ThatGuy". Well, with more hair, I guess. :)

very nice. you have a great collection, both figures and games. but i have to ask, do you like star wars? just kidding.

that's somewhat how i envision my gameroom to be someday, in my next house with a *hopefully* finished basement. i have a grand plan of running a shelf about 10 inches wide all around the room to display all my figures/transformers/etc on, and then putting all my posters above that.
