I know its not much, but now I feel like my dream of having a basement arcade is getting there, Im proud of it even if its only 2 games , the spy hunter is in decent shape and the side art will be hidden when I put my next game to it, Street Fighter 2 will be done in about 3 weeks so its next in line. Im going to start looking for some cool arcade signs and posters, looks good with the lights off but my camera sucks so im not even taking pics in the dark, I figured the space I have on that wall and what you cant see I can have about 10 games down there which would be plenty fun for parties and such

Hey man game room's come in a shapes and sizes. With all types of games set up in many diff ways. You have the great vision we all do about our "perfect" game rooms. To me it looks like your starting on it rather well. Good job great looking games.

Yes, I only gotten 46k points :(

That ain't shabby. I'm up to 86k now. I've been tracking a little experiment of mine via this game. I had never seen nor played this game before a Classic Arcade tourney a little while ago. I thought it was tough so I figured it'd be fun to try and see how long it would take to beat the WR on it, having never seen it before and do it the old fashioned way like back in the day. No replays watched, no MARP/youtube, etc and only an hour a day of practice maximum allowed to myself in MAME to simulate visiting the arcade back in the day. Also Richie Knucklez has it at his arcade so I can go there on Friday nights and play it as God intended.

I have put in a total of about 8-10 hours now and am at the 86k, I think I've gotten to max difficulty now however so it's just a matter of consistency. I think I can put it all together at some point.

I maybe have about 1-2 hours playing total time

Nice. You are almost right around the point where the icicle thingys start falling insanely fast and the final enemy remaining on the non-icicle/non-fireball boards go insanely fast as well. Enjoy!

Very nice looking basement setup. I think the whole basement arcade idea is really cool. Mine it just a dedicated room in the house, but that doesn't sound near as cool as "basement". Now finish that SF2 and get it down there!!!

Arcade games are like 300 pound potato chips, you can't have just one or two. ;) We all started where you are at, and I was just as proud at 2 games as I am now.

It's not the size of the arcade it's how you use the arcade....lol :)

Very nice!

Us small arcade owners have to stick together ;)

My lil cade...

I think it's awesome man - That Spy Hunter is SWEET. I love the side-art on the cab too, you can tell it's had some use. I might be in the minority but I really appreciate aged artwork like that. Gives it character and you know it's original.

yeah, the sides will be hidden anyway with other cabs, and the control panel overlay is new

Very cool! I wish I had a little space like for my games.

its a little bigger than it looks, probably around 450-550 sq ft, my laundry room and bathroom and guest room are down there is the basement is all hidden behind that wood wall, so that part will be all arcade
