Hank Chien attempts to break his own world record at the Rochester Gameroom Show this past weekend.
Although he was unsuccessful at his record attempt he did reach the kill screen.

I'd love to see some video of these guys playing. I assume they go for the hammers on every board? Reaching the kill screen is insane enough - maximizing points on every screen is just ridiculous.

Even if he did break the record it wouldn't have counted. There's no way that's NOS side art and you know TG would discredit the attempt lol

I guess the days of being asked to sign a breast are over huh? :)
thanks for posting the pics very cool.

Hank is a great guy. Met him during RK1. Jimmy linderman/Hank Chien/Ben Falls all are amazing dk players and nice guys to boot. Never met weibe or mitchell.

If he wrote on my machine i'd beat his ass. u can play all u want but no marker.

Love or hate cocktail cabs. But that is a damn nice looking(well in good shape anyway) DK Cocktail.

Also, that is what they should make the WR holders challenge on, is the Cocktail DK cab and it's controls. I bet it would be a different experience on getting a high score. In the later stretches.

i can score more points on my cocktail DK than i can on my upright? is this just me?

I would be honored to have him play and autograph my DK if I owned one. He is the world record holder and his name is now a part of DK history. That's pretty cool if you ask me...

sczerby should have showed up and challenged him.

I had thought about contacting Tim as he lives not too far from the show. Hank only had a few hours with us and there wasn't enough time for something like that. I did talk to Sczerby at Videotopia last summer. He was playing on the DK machine for several hours... Hank said that both Sczerby and Weibe had called to congratulate him.

No call from Mitchell

Hank said Billy Mitchell has not contacted him. Also, Tim Sczerby has been to every Rochester Game Room Show before this one but must have been busy.
