My brother and I found and interesting set of games and picked them up this weekend. A few titles I'm not familiar with, but we were excited to haul them home and see what works!

The weird thing was they have been sitting in a laundromat that has been closed for 8 years. It was like walking into a time machine. The games were just sitting there and hadn't been turned on since they closed the laundromat. Great stuff!

so... here are some pic after we got them off the trailer. Cleaned them up and did a general assessment. Has to drill locks and cut off security bars/plates on all of them

"Super Hang On' - filled with trash and other bits - there is a picture of some of the more interesting things found

- didn't work board with lights but not playing blind- prob something to do with all the trash :) otherwise the board looked super clean

"Jaleco - P47 The phantom Fighter"

- covered in laundry soap inside and out - swept it on and it came right up - looks awesome - and I'm in love with the cabinet- its the first I've seen

"In the Hunt"- fired right up!

"Mortal Combat" - in a Vindicators cabinet - fired right up - monitor needs some work

"C.O.W. Boys of Moo Mesa" - super clean inside - looks like the power supply needs replacing - will investigate tomorrow.

move that mk game out of xybots cabinet back into "in the hunt" that one is a mk1 cabinet

looking at the coindoor on the in the hunt,, i dont think so.
oh ok, wait your right.
was looking at the wrong one.

Yeah transfere the MK1 back to the in the hunt cab lol.

Another abandoned game/rescue story. You are supposed to keep that secret to protect the parties involved!

That's pretty cool. When they come out of a place like that, you are almost assured that most of them either work or don't need a lot of help. Very nice indeed. Nothing in there that I would keep but definitely a worthwhile deal.

In The Hunt and Cowboys of Moo Mesa PCB's can catch a fair price. Good little haul. Are you planning to do anything to de-convert the XYBots?

we don't have any specific plans as of yet. Lots of idea though. Are you looking for a xbots cabinet? :)

The Hang On was the only cabinet that had the side open. For some reason people were using it as storage and or garbage...LOL :)

I'd like to get some playtime on both Moo Mesa and In The Hunt just to check them out. Heck, P-47 for that matter. I've never seem them before. In the Hunt and P-47 look pretty cool and I like that they are 2 player simultaneous.

Eventually I would like to move Mortal Kombat to a cab that makes more sense. I've always wanted one and would like to add it to the collection. Lots to be discussed with my bro!

that was just the interesting stuff. We threw out all the paper garbage(there was a TON of it), slim jims, and most of the Red Vines(some left in for the pictures)
all that junk was so weird

How the heck did all that crap get in the Hang On? Charge the phone and see if there's any interesting texts on it.

I just noticed the G.I. Joe leg, lol. Was the rest of it in there?

My son has a G.I. Joe missing a leg and he tells everyone he "lost it in the war"
