Ok I have read up a bit on this (though I can't fucking do it, lol)

I just got a MK2 cab with a circle lock on the coin door, and a masterlock on the back door.

with the lock pit kit I have , the masterlock is the one I have to shoot for.

Anyone have any tricks, or know which of the tools works best?

I may pull out a gun and shoot it 10 or 12 times, but I am not sure if that will work, lol.

if you have anything less than a .44/45 caliber, have fun. i'd use a pair of bolt cutters. but then, i live in a residential area.

that is killer!!!! im gonna have to try that now...

Ive been wanting to make a masterlock bump ke for a long time now but honestly that looks easier to do..

I successfully used the bic pen trick on a tubular (circle) lock recently.

pull the pen apart so that you only have the long tube.

cut a north/south and an east/west slit in the end of the tube about 1/4inch deep.

put the split end of the pen tube into the lock, wiggle it around in a circle while twisting the tube in whichever direction the lock needs to spin (clockwise or counter, mine was counter).

keep working it until it opens, took me about six minutes.

after it is opened, take lock to locksmith and have him make you a key.

Cut the master lock off and go in from the back. That circular lock on the CD has a nut screw that holds the arm on to keep it from opening.

Drill the master lock on the back with a 1/8 or larger bit. Make sure you drill at the top of the key hole. This is where the tumblers are. The top of the key (part that makes each key unique) pushes them in and the lock can turn. When you drill the top of the key hole, you go thru all the tumblers. After you drill thru all the tumblers, the part the key turns will fall out. The lock will slide up and it will unlock. Depending on your drill and bit, you can do it in under a minute.

Once you get the back open, you can remove the screw, that holds the lever, that holds the coin door closed with a scewdriver. If you want, now you can remove the coin door lock and replace it.

If you choose to drill it, look for some bits called roto-broach. They are designed to drill spot welds in sheet metal. I can get through one of those locks in less than a minute with one.

Use a pair of scissors and a coke can.

can someone show me the masterlock #1 video with the lock connected to a huge piece of metal with no room to work?

:)

I tried, it is too tight, to make this work and this particular lock.

Dylan,
How far do you live from Caddysrule? He has keys for the lock you are trying to get in to.
I only have 1 left or I'd mail you one myself.

Those circle locks with the hardened steel hasp are a joke. After ruining the jaws in a bolt cutter, I noticed the keyway assembly was brass. Pulled out a cordless drill and stuck it in there, it was like drilling in butter. The locking pins came out with the cuttings, had it open in 30 seconds, I swear.

I have a set of lock picks stashed in the back of my tool chest
that I use all the time. We are always getting games that are missing
the keys. What I don't have is a pick for the Ace (tubular) locks,
they run around $100 and we don't get many of those locks
anyway.

I made my first two picks out of hacksaw blades then picked up
the full set on Deal Extreme for $6 or something.
