Picked up one of my grails today, and also got to meet a fellow KLOVer. I drove up to Luckyman's place today and picked up Star Trek from him. Got to see his collection, and its awesome.
The Star Trek is not working and Steve told me its popping fuses in the monitor. I got it home and checked the transformer and power supply, seem ok. I left the monitor unplugged, because there is a blown fuse in there. Proper voltages seem to be getting to the boards. And I put my meter on the signal input cable for the monitor and it seems to be feeding signal. I just need to pull the monitor and check a few things. Found a manual online and it says to check the chassis transistors, and I want to check the rectifier diodes that come just after the fuse that keeps blowing(possible short?)
Well, the Adventure contiues........just wanted to give kudos to Steve for offering a great game in awsome condition.
