Picked up one of my grails this weekend. LETSA GO!!!
Mushroom World!

Drove 5 and a half hours round trip for this puppy on Sunday.
Got it home and had to transport it from my car myself. Lets just say... a convertible dolly and a couple of 2x4s don't make the *best* pinball machine transport. The game just barely fit on the dolly lengthwise... and then I ran into a huge issue after lifting this thing up on to two pieces of wood and gingerly wheeling it over to the elevator...
The two doors connecting the garage to the elevator were literally 2mm too narrow for the 2x4's to get through! So here I am at nearly midnight, using a hacksaw to saw off several inches of each 2x4 in order for them to fit through the doorways....
I finally get the wood cut down and get it through the doors and on the elevator. After that it was pretty smooth sailing to get it all set up. But man. I was literally drenched in sweat. I had to peel off my clothes like I had just jumped in a pool.
Both of my hands are slightly numb and extremely sore with multiple cuts and blisters from all the heavy lifting... but it's worth every bit of pain.
As for the machine... it fully works and it's fairly clean and in good shape. There was an issue I was having with the right flipper shorting out and blowing the fuse but I figured out it was because it was slightly loose and jiggling around to the point where something was making contact with bare metal. I straightened that out and I haven't had any issues with it all day.
I'm freaking out because I got this thing *just* in my price range and didn't think I'd ever find one in this condition for the price I paid. I'm extremely happy, and extremely tired.
The absolute coolest thing about this machine? It's from Myrtle Beach, SC... and I grew up in SC and visited Myrtle Beach with my family for vacations! I might have actually been right near this machine when I was a kid.
edit: Anyone know where I can find a ticket dispenser for this thing? Or maybe just a cover plate of some sort so I don't have a big gaping hole in the front of the game.
