One of my major hobbies is two-channel audio (aka: stereo), and as such I spend most of my online time hanging around and posting on a site called Audio Asylum, under the moniker "JimK". One of the forums on "AA" is a place called Inmate Central, a place where "anything goes" as long as it's not religion, politics, or audio, and over the years I've made (and personally met) quite a few friends there. A better bunch of guys you couldn't ask for!

When some of these friends learned I recently bought a jukebox (Rock-Ola model 1452) and planned on picking it up in-person half-way across the country they asked me to post some pictures and share my experiences, and instead of typing it all out again for y'all here I figured it would be easier to just provide a link. If you're interested in reading my semi-blog about this jukebox it can be seen here:

So, I've got the jukebox home, but due to previous home improvement commitments I won't be able to really dig into this machine until I move it into the house sometime this fall. (Of course that doesn't mean I won't "cheat" a little here and there and sneak some time to "play" with this thing! :) )

Wow, truely awesome. That is one pretty jukebox. Great story, being able to drive by the place it was put when it was new is priceless. Congrats.
