Got a SFII for $125. It's a total hack job so I won't feel guilty for MAMEing it. Right now my Rad Mobile cab is my MAME rig and I'd like to get that working back the way it was originally intended.

It's got a 25" monitor which is nice, but it's not an actual arcade monitor, it's a TV with a Scart input soldered to the Jamma harness. I don't know what the cab was originally but I don't think it was an SFII cause there's some bondo work on the underside of the CP. The coin box was stuffed with a bunch of stuff like an extra Jamma harness, a button nut wrench, joysticks, and buttons which is nice I guess.

Anybody know what model cab this is?

It does look a lot like a Centipede except that mine has a 45º angle on the sides at the bottom rear of the cab, you can see it in my first pic. All the bondo work though is right where the track ball would be which makes it seem likely.

[edit] Yep, looks like a Kangaroo, it's got the 45º notch at the back. I've never heard of that game before but that's some pretty sweet artwork, wish it was still on there.

Forgot to add this pic...you don't need a pickup to pick up cabs!

Either a Kangaroo or Dig Dug. Centipede does not have the over/under coin door.

I guess my cab was just another victim of the early 90's Street Fighter craze of which I was a very willing participant...lol

At that point since it's already hacked to hell and a TV was put in there.. would be perfect for Mame then. Thou the buttons look slightly spaced too far apart for me.

I do like the fact that you use a Jeep without a trailer. That's thinking outside the box!

The buttons are waaaaay too spaced apart. I like them as close I can get and with a curved layout. This is my current MAME cab.

Very nice looking cab. I keep mine in a straight line very similar to the KI layout, and I use hot keys to eliminate a lot of the extra buttons on the control panel, but to each their own.

I'm sure those curved buttons are more comfortable in the long run.

I had to kill my Mame cab today. The PC belongs to my brothers ex girlfriend and she finally wants it back for some reason?.. It was time for me to upgrade anyways!

This could also have been an Arabian.
