Got this from a former Stern employee...also got an NOS The End and Strategy X pcb and some other goodies. Sad thing is he said they threw EVERYTHING away when the arcade division shut down. Right into the dumpsters.

This is just the cabinet, no wiring or pcbs, it was saved from the mfg floor before getting smashed.

Man, that would look sweet with my repro Frenzy control panel a got a few years ago!:D

That would go nice with the NOS marquee and Bezel I have that I'm using to restore my Frenzy cab...plus your control panel and the repro art that was done too...I'd love to see some of those pictures you got...I'm sure there are some good ones..

That is sad but not so surprising. I've talked to some emps saying they just straight-up "destroyed" (aka smashed up and trashed) games after they served their purpose.

I am amazed by all the stuff that is still out there!
Nice find Chris
Now mame that thing! :p

I don't know anything about the game but that is extremely awesome! Did the guy just have it sitting in his garage for 30 years or what? How does something like that survive that long? Its not like its a working game. It never even really was a game, right? It never got finished, did it?

Awesome score Chris!

I'm waiting to stumble on the former Taito employee that has a Kram, Electric Yo Yo, Pirate Pete and other rare Taito antiquities in his collection and is sick of seeing them. I know he has to live somewhere in the 'burbs!
