Pretty cool. Playing blind, but the monitor appears to be functioning ok, so possibly something with the signal output from the board. Gotta start troubleshooting a little and possibly send the board out for repair if I can't get it moving.

I've never actually played the game, but I've heard it's a riot with 2 players & some drinks.

That's awesome!

There is one at a local arcade but I have never played it. The first time I was there it was up and running but I was by myself. Every other time I have passed through it has been out of order.

GREAT FIND! I know its high on a few members want list. I played that game BITD at Celebrity Sports Center in Denver and the best part was being the rear driving and turning the back into things.

Thinking about putting in an LCD & replacing the control panels to do a 2-player 60-1 where one person stands & the other sits.

(not really)

Am I right in saying that it says "SORRY" on the screen instead of "GAME OVER" when in attract mode?

Am I right in saying you didn't read the part where I said it's playing blind?

;)

LOL - I was asking everyone, not just you. :D

But, if I'm right, and that's the original monitor...it should be pretty well-burned in at the top!

There's definitely some burn but I'd have to take a closer look... I'm pretty sure (not positive) it says "GAME OVER" up top...

Any other FT owners who have one that says "SORRY"?

Hook it up to a TV set, that is the quickest way to see if the video problem is the boards or the monitor.

...aren't they all?

Sick cab. Ive never played it either. Missed out on a chance at CAX but it was always being played (that was like 2007ish).

Soooo jealous! Yea it says sorry depending on how good/bad you do.
I have the one player Smokey Joe's.

Nice!!!

You should be able to rig up the composite video outputs of a VCR or DVD player to the inputs of the monitor. That will let you see if the monitor is working properly.
