Picked up a Tron today for $600, which I think was a good deal. The seller wanted $800 originally. The cabinet is in decent shape just missing the side art which is no big deal because I plan to restore it, the joystick on it is from the game Astron Belt and I am assuming that I should be able to buy the aftermarket Tron joystick cover from groovygame gear and that it should fit with no issues, am I making the correct assumption. The joysticks look very similar. Overall the game is in good shape. I will try to take a few pics and post later.

GGG joystick is a direct bolt on.

This pic is not shopped and is from my Tron machine.

You'll need the 'TRON' insert too. Arcadesop has 'em for $12

Just buy everything from Phoenix Arcade...replace it all and don't think twice about it. Take it from someone who's been there and done that.

+1 for phoenix.

theyre stuff will cost you more. Im a cheapass, and even i went with thier art. Its top notch stuff.

Does anyone know where I can get the piece that goes between the platic shroud for the monitor and the upper control panel plastic? Looking at pictures of Tron it looks like there is suppose to be a strip of plastic there.

It's a metal plate. I'd venture to guess that 30% of Trons out there are missing it. A few people have talked about having a machine shop fabricate them, but nobody's actually done it. It wouldn't be a expensive part to make, but nobody's taken the initiative.
