It is a little rough in spots and needs to be painted in spots as well.
Some playfield wear, which I hear happens around the pop bumpers.
I will get some pics up after I get it out of my truck.

I would love some links to things I need to get.
New balls
cleaning/maintaining/waxing the playfield.

Use Novus 2 to clean the playfield/plastics.

I use pinballlife for most common things as they have the cheapest prices usually and great service. I always use others when I need oddball stuff...marco,bayarea,pinballresource,etc.

Oh and congrats on the game, I really love taxi. I'd love to have one someday myself :)

I've got 12 pins and I stay far away from Bay Area amusments unless its last hope for finding something they are super super RUDE and don't return calls and if your a pinball Newb good luck with them! I really love Marco but pinball resource is also really great. Get some cliffy protectors for sure. Use Enamel for touch up and take your time. Noveus is your best friend so are micro fiber cloths that you can get at tap plastics with your Noveus. Carnuba wax is what you wanna wax your playfield with. Feel free Dylan to come over if you need to learn anything or check out my pins. I don't have anything as old as Taxi but I've heard a lot of people like it. Mike Betz could really help you if its gotta any issues as he has my old Whirlwind and redid the whole machine and it came out fantastic, welcome to the Pinhead Sickness! Did you sell your Jokerz?

I have bought from Bay Area a couple of times and their service has been EXCELLENT for me. I even had a couple of rubbers break on me after replacement and they sent me a few for free. Plus, you get free Jelly Bellys with each order!

I have never had an issue with Bay Area. I had to send something back for a refund and had no issues. I buy from vendors in this order:

1. Pinball Life
2. Bay Area
3. Pinball Resource
4. Marco Specialties

I also love Pinbits but they really don't sell a wide variety of parts. The stuff they do sell they are right up there with Pinball Life.

where I live there's alot of outdoor/indoor swapmeets and there's abosolutely NO pinball place with parts for sell. I remember there use to be all kinds of vendors at these type of places selling parts. If we didn't have internet we would have to rely on the retail shops in your town (if your lucky that is) to order parts for us and pay outrageous prices.

Hey Joe yeah I sold the jokerz a couple of months back.

Essentially the price of this taxi was:

trade my donkey kong with d2k &
put a working monitor in his centipede.

Only problem is that I had to drive to manteca twice to make this all
work out, because centipede uses a freaking horizontally mounted monitor
turned to a vertical position. lol.
I had brought a vertically mounted monitor with me the first time, and it simply
had no chance of fitting, lol.

I've had that problem before I just swapped the monitor frame... of course if the game you put a monitor in didn't have a monitor in the first place that would be a problem :)

That sounds like a pretty good deal. Congrats! I got my Taxi a few months ago and love it.
