Grabbed this Midway Submarine.. a very unique and fun game.
Normally I wouldnt be into this type of game - but it is amazingly cool.
The ocean actually moves up and down and has a motion effect... the ships nosedive when hit - its crazy. A very cool machine.
I will have to put it next to my seawolf and depthcharge

I remember that game, would love to have it. Its in great shape nice grab.

i think I have to tweak a few things with it - did the ships move left to right on the water??
This one powers up - credits up - and you can shoot the ships (torpedos appear and hit ships etc) ships sink - but I dont see them moving left or right - just wanted to know more about the game and there isnt a lot of info out there on it

Great find. Really neat piece. I *THINK* Namco originally made it, but I'm not certain. There was another thread about Submarine: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=237423&page=2

Here's the Namco version still operating in a North Korean arcade.

That looks like a cool game. Congrats on getting it. Would love to find one and put it next to my Atari Destroyer game. OH and yes dead link

Wow.. even sweeter. I know Erik (not sure if you know him, but he is from GB) had a warehouse deal he did recently that included a Submarine. Looks like a sweet game, one I was interested in.. :D

Is this game an EM? I would love to have a late model EM from the 1970's - doesn't even have to be a gun game. Just something to show my kids. Already got all of them, even the now-8-year-old - knowing what and how to play a real pinball. My oldest is coming up on 29 now, and we taught him and his younger sisters and now he's big into Dig Dug and DK and Ms Pac. Unfortunately the only public pins are crappy Stern late models in Chuck E Cheese that no one maintains - and they are home quality at best when new. My older kids got to play Pin*Bot, High Speed and Target Alpha in real life when I had them. And I should never have sold them - so hence my affinity for anything EM these days.

Somewhere I have the original hand drafted drawing of the marquee and the plastic above the control. Won it in a raffle at the Little Shop of Games open house last year! I'll try to dig it up this weekend and post a pic.

That would be awesome... this is a really cool game overall. I will have to dig into it a bit and see exactly what it is and isnt doing. Will have to shoot some video of it.
