Im pretty excited about it, because I have all the parts to put it back together except for the backglass. Here are the pix:

So fortunate that RoadBlasters is a pretty old game too so it was probably converted in the late 80s, so the artwork underneath has been protected for many years.

Cool! I applaud you on taking up what looks like a pretty intense (and expensive!) restoration. It's always nice to bring another vector back from the dead.

Sometimes I think old ops did us collectors a favor by painting over some of these vinyl cabs. Okay, okay, not really. :D

This is Exidy we're talking about here - OF COURSE it is a keeper!

Yeah the art is decent, better than I expected. Some scratching here and there.. but overall pretty good. Some of the vinyl is ripped on the edges but something I can touch up.

I have removed black paint from many games, in the case of Atari games I usually use Acetone. Yes ACETONE! The art is protected or coated with something, so it doesnt damage the art. I started using some of that orange smelling remover, then tried a section with acetone and it worked great. Of course im a little nervous using it, but so far so good.

I may be running a 2nd run of the Backglass soon since the first run sold out before I even finished the printing. Silkscreened glass from orginal Atari films

Moving forward with this!

I have installed all the wiring, AR II, working boardset and more.
Also applied a new CP overlay and installed the controller:
